Smoke & Tobacco Free Environment
On January 2, 2014, the University of California joined more than 1,159 colleges and universities nationwide by implementing a UC systemwide Smoke & Tobacco Free Environment Policy. You can view the original announcement below:
President’s letter to the Chancellors – January 2012
If you would like to view UCSC’s Smoke & Tobacco Free Environment Policy, you can do so here. This policy states that there can be no tobacco use or smoking of any kind on any UCSC property.
If you notice someone smoking or using tobacco products on UCSC property, please fill out this Report of Non-Compliance.
